When someone within the Township of Pemberton is in need of police assistance or protection, it is most likely they will come in contact with our Patrol Division. The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible division within our agency and is available to the public 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The Patrol Division never has a day off, including holidays, because it is our duty to protect and serve the community at all times. If a citizen needs assistance in locating a lost child or there is need to apprehend an armed felon, the officers of the Patrol Division will be there; that is what they do.
 
Some of the responsibilities within the Patrol Division are to respond to and conduct investigations into criminal activities such as; burglaries, robberies, homicides, stolen motor vehicles, arsons, narcotics violations, explosive threats, disorderly persons and so on. The Patrol Division also handles vehicle related events including; accident investigations, motor vehicle complaints, parking complaints, vehicle enforcement as well as a myriad of other functions including but not limited to first aid and fire calls, animal complaints, loud parties, emotionally disturbed persons, etc.
 
The Patrol Division of the Pemberton Township Police Department prides itself in offering professional service with the utmost respect for our fellow citizens.
