For the past thirty one years it has been my pleasure to serve the residents of this township in various positions with the department. It is now my honor to be the Chief of Police. I do not and will not take this responsibility lightly. I want to thank the members of council for their support, as well as all the residents who have been so vocal in their support of the Chief of Police position.

The mission of this department is to provide a full range of professional police services. I will continue to work hard to ensure that we will provide for your safety through commitment, integrity and trust. I am committed to achieving a partnership with the community in an effort to meet our current and future challenges. I pledge to you that we will strive at all times to treat residents with impartiality and respect as well as to attain the highest degree of ethical behavior and professionalism.

We face serious problems and the police can not solve them alone. Your police department consists of fifty-nine well trained and dedicated men and women. We can not be everywhere or see everything. Only when the police and the residents work together can we achieve our goals. I intend to meet with all facets of the community over the next several months. I want to meet with the civic organizations, church members, business persons, senior citizens and all residents of the township. I want to know your problems and your fears but more importantly I want to hear about your vision for the future of the Pemberton Township Police Department. What are we doing well and where do you feel we need to improve.

Regardless of what the future holds in store for us you can be assured that as the Chief of Police I will do whatever is in my power to keep Pemberton Township a Community of Excellence.

Semper Fidelis
