Job Oppurtunity - The Township of Pemberton is currently seeking to hire School Crossing Guards for the areas of Trenton Road (Browns Mills) and Scrapetown Road (Pemberton). The people selected would be needed approximately two hours per day when school is in session and only during the normal school year. The rate of pay is $12.00 per hour. Applicants must be Township Residents and pass a pre-employment physical (including exam, audio test and Titmus vision exam). Impaired Driving Enforcement Crackdown - August 15 to September 1

Pemberton Township Chief David H. Jantas announced that law enforcement officers from Pemberton Township will be cracking down on drunk drivers as part of the 2014 Labor Day "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. Beginning August 15 and running through September 1, local and state law enforcement officers will conduct sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols, looking for motorists who may be driving while intoxicated.
